Andy Aitken

Andy is the Head Coach of the Oxford Parks Programme, joining us from our merger with Growing the Game. Andy has been a tennis coach for the past 8 years. He qualified as a Level 3 tennis coach at the age of 18 and ever since has been tennis mad, successfully passing his Level 4 Senior Performance qualification in July 2011. He is also Oxfordshire County Captain of the U14 Boys team.


Constantin Bucuresteanu

Constantin is a new coach to our team, having joined us from Romania in 2017 where he previously worked as a tennis coach for 16 years. He is very passionate about tennis and helping players to develop quickly in the sport whilst still making sure they are enjoying it. He works step by step to develop the mind and body and achieve the long-term and short-term goals of players to become the best that they can be.

Tom Finnie

Tom is a Level 3 Qualified Coach and been coaching since the age of 16. He began working in Oxfordshire during March 2017 and is now Head of Tennis at Cokethorpe School in Witney, alongside contributing to the ever growing junior programme at the White Horse Tennis Centre in Abingdon at weekends. He has is very enthusiatic about our new tots programme and plans to run further sessions to spark inspiration into the younger generation. He is also vice captain of the Oxford U18 Girls County Cup Squad.

Jack Kovandzich

Jack is currently studying for his degree in Sport & Exercise Science at the University of Staffordshire and joins us over his holidays. Raised in Oxford, he started playing tennis from a young age, he was the captain for the Cokethorpe Boys 1st Team and is now competing for the Staffordshire University Men's 1st Team. He has recently completed his LTA Level 2 coaching qualification and is keen to progress to his Level 3 as soon as possible, having already been advised by his course tutor that he is ready for the next step.

Jose Oliveira Costa

Jose is a level 4 qualified tennis coach from Porto. He is working towards opening his own tennis academy with his family in Portugal, he joined us last year and has been coming back regularly over the summer holidays, often as a head coach on our camps.

Matt Parry

Matt is a level 3 qualified coach, originally from Wales and has been involved with tennis his whole life. He started playing at a young age and went on to represent his home club's first team in the South Wales tennis leagues.

Daryl Streeton

Daryl has lived in Oxford all his life, and when growing up he was quite into golf, then watched federer at Wimbledon when he was 20 and completely fell in love with the game, especially witnessing Federer hit that single handed backhand. He started playing competitively a few years later and is now looking to help improve players around oxford and get more people involved in tennis loving the game like he does. He's currently a level 2 coach and looking at doing his level 3 in the near future.

Bart Wisniewski

Bart is currently qualified as a LTA level 2 coach, DBS registered and he is ready to take another step in his tennis coaching career. He has already met all the requirements and will start his Level 3 course in the near future. Sport has always played a great part in his life. He is very enthusiastic about tennis and any form of physical activitiy. Years of work experience as a school based sports coach and winter sports instructor in addition to his recent PGCE diploma has helped Bart to develop special relationships with his learners, in particular with the little ones. Differentiation, fun and challenge are his main coaching tips helping players to develop their skills at the right pace.
